WESTON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES and Axis Communications (the leader in IP network camera technology) have partnered to offer a state-of-the-art CCTV recording solution for enterprise-scale applications.
INCREASING domestic and international security awareness coupled with the growing ubiquity of enterprise IP networks has led to an enormous increase in corporate and government use of CCTV recording. Strengthening regulatory trends - particularly in the finance sector - have also called for companies to be able to present even more extensive audit trails of their business activities.
LEVERAGING the SYMPHONY™ architecture with Axis's range of IP-enabled cameras and video servers, InVision™ enables CCTV recordings to be fully integrated within SYMPHONY™. In addition to allowing comprehensive control over image size and quality, and flexible recording control - including advanced motion detection capabilities, InVision™ also adds full Information Lifecycle Management capabilities to the recording environment. Access to the video in both real time and historically is achieved using the same interface as for all other SYMPHONY™ supported media types.
FOR EXISTING CAMERA INSTALLATIONS, InVision™ can be deployed allowing customers to dramatically improve the utility of their CCTV recording infrastructure whilst leveraging much of their existing video investment. InVision™ also supports hybrid environments where a combination of analogue and IP-based cameras exist facilitating a gradual migration to an entirely IP environment.
